Resstende played a key role in designing, manufacturing, and installing solar shading for the courtyard of Palazzo Assolombarda in Milan, which was recently inaugurated. The restyling project was led by Arch. Federico Colletta from the Co3Progetti studio. The goal of the renovation was to create a new meeting point just a few meters from the Duomo. This is the goal: developing an internal square equipped with multifunctional spaces that promote new ways of working and living in the building. Alessandro Spada, President of Assolombarda, commented that this makes it “a place of dialogue and inclusion to support the economic and social growth of a great metropolis like Milan.”

Thanks to Resstende’s intervention, Assolombarda’s headquarters have been transformed into a location suitable for hosting events and cultural moments open to the public. Resstende installed seven horizontal, motorized roller blinds, model Dallas TKO 135 with Traction kit, which help shade the courtyard, making the space more liveable and comfortable. The alternating layout of the blinds creates shaded areas that ensure the necessary comfort for enjoying the outdoor spaces.

Rossella Gerosa, Project Manager at Resstende, who directly coordinated with the contractor, stated, “It is always motivating to have the opportunity to contribute to projects of this caliber, working closely with prestigious entities. In addition to designing the shades, we have already prepared for the addition of other systems to fully cover the courtyard in the future if needed.”

With anodized silver finishes, grey accessories, and bottom rails, the roller blinds are enhanced with the Traction kit system, ensuring extraordinary performance with minimal bulk. Its minimal design highlights the building’s geometry, integrating seamlessly into the architectural context. Project Manager Rossella Gerosa concludes, “We are proud to have contributed our expertise and technology to the success of the project. Our commitment has always been to offer innovative, high-quality solutions to improve the well-being and comfort of work and social environments.”
