Almost 1,400 people filled the Dal Verme Theatre in Milan on November 16th to reenact Gino Strada. The event, entitled “THERE ARE NO IMPOSSIBLE BETS“, focused on the words of the founder of Emergency thanks to the contribution of friends and actors from the world of cinema, theatre and television. The evening, conducted by Fabio Fazio, saw Luca Zingaretti, Marco D’Amore, Valentina Carnelutti, Teresa Mannino, Valerio Aprea, Claudio Santamaria, Carla Signoris and Camila Raznovich reading excerpts from the books and articles that Gino Strada wrote in the course of a lifetime in defense of the least. Words alternated with songs by Daniele Silvestri and interpretations by Neri Marcoré.

The fil rouge of the evening was illustrated by Emergency itself, explaining that anyone who met Gino Strada “has always been struck by the consistency between his words and his actions, as evidenced by what he has built with Emergency in over 25 years of work in defense of the victims of war and poverty “. “Actions that have cured and saved lives and words capable of evoking images, projecting scenarios and winning, every time, challenges deemed impossible”.

Resstende was honored to be able to participate in such a significant evening, made even more exciting by virtue of the company’s link with the Italian humanitarian association: in fact, in 2017, it became part of the design of the pediatric hospital as a donor of Emergency, the “Emergency Children’s Surgery Center” – in Entebbe in Uganda, with the installation of 85 roller blind systems. A medical reception center, to whose realization Resstende has contributed with great joy and pride, amplified by the nature of the project itself.
